I knew since I moved back here after almost 12 years that it would mean starting all over again. I knew there'd be an adjustment period. I didn't know how creatively bone dry I'd be nor how logistically challenging art would be.
My inner creative soil is there. It's cracked dry and dusty, but it's there. Over the past few weeks, a bit of sun has reached it in busts of inspiration and ideas; some nourishment has watered it with moments of creative play and creative space.
And today someone planted seeds. I hope they'll grow. I'll try to encourage the sun to shine inspiration in and rain down play-filled opportunities. I'll keep this c
